Job Title: Senior IAM Migration Engineer (Okta, SiteMinder & API Specialist)
Location: Remote (US Based) with occasional travel to Indianapolis, IN.
Contract: 6+ Months (Project scope through Q3 2026).
Opportunity Overview:
We are seeking an elite Identity and Access Management (IAM) Engineer for a high-profile enterprise migration project. You will be stepping into a complex Phase 2 initiative involving the migration of over 350 vendors and clients from a legacy SiteMinder environment to Okta. This role requires a rare blend of governance capabilities and deep technical expertise in API gateways and authorization flows.
Key Responsibilities:
  • End-to-End Migration: Lead the migration of IAM ecosystems from SiteMinder and PingOne to Okta.
  • Vendor Onboarding: Create templates and governance frameworks to onboard external vendors efficiently (targeting 40-50 migrations/month).
  • API Security: Manage the transition of API gateways (specifically Apigee) and migrate Client IdPs to Okta.
  • Authorization Flows: Re-architect and transition authorization flows from PingOne to Okta.
  • Stakeholder Management: Act as the technical liaison between vendor solution engineers and internal business stakeholders.
Required Qualifications:
  • Deep Subject Matter Expertise: Proven experience migrating specifically from SiteMinder to Okta.
  • API Proficiency: Strong hands-on experience with Apigee and migrating API gateways.
  • Authorization: Experience transitioning flows from PingOne.
  • Soft Skills: Exceptional communication skills are mandatory. You must be comfortable presenting to high-level stakeholders and managing "white glove" vendor interactions.
